I play soccer in fall. My favorite thing about fall is the ice skating outside at Westfeid mall. What do you like about fall?

    your classmate,

  2. Dear Mrs.Ranney,

During fall I play basketball. The sun makes green leaves; however, I learned that leaves change colors without sunlight. My favorite thing to do in fall is throw a ball and catch it. What do you do for fall?

    Your classmate,

  3. Dear Mrs.Ranney,
In fall we go to the Park and have a nice family picnic. We see different kinds of leaves that fall from the trees. I like to collect leaves, because they have nice colors.

    Your student,
    Francesca :)

  4. Dear Class,

I just learned that a blade of grass, a pine needle, a fern frond, and a maple leaf are all leaves. What I like to do in fall is play baseball and watch football.

    See you in two days,

  5. Dear Mrs. Ranney,

In fall I play baseball on the Commandos. We play in tournaments against really good teams. In the next tournament we are playing in Chino Hills.

    Your Student,

  6. Dear Mrs. Ranney and Class,

In Autumn, I like to watch baseball and football. During Autumn, I enjoy playing basketball. A fact I learned is that a Compound Leaf is a leaf which has a number of leaves on it called leaflets.

I love the season of fall. When I lived in New Jersey, I loved to watch all the leaves change colors.
Here's a fall fact about foxes: In the fall, the fox is orange or brown, In the winter the fox changes its color to white.

    See you tomorrow,

  8. Dear Sydney,
I LOVE to ice skate at the Westfeid mall too! Maybe we can go together when it opens. Here's some fabulous fall fact: Did you know that every plant has its own kind of leaf? Did you know that leaves help make fingerpaints?

See you in 13 hours and 45 minutes,
    Hayley: - )

  9. Dear Mrs.Ranney and class,

In the fall I like to practice my soccer skills with my family. My dad used to be an athlete and he coaches me and my sisters for fun. I enjoy my fall with my family

    Your classmate,

  10. Dear Mrs. Ranney and her class,
I love apples and Fall is when my most favorite apple appears in the markets. After reading about the "seven types of apples" that are listed on your link "Awesome Autumn," I was disappointed that my favorite was not listed :( The apple that I think is the most flavorful is called Honeycrisp. You can only find them for a very short time in the Fall and now is that time. Get yourself to the market and find a Honeycrisp. You won't be sorry.
    Happy Fall,
    (Joshua's Grandma)

  11. Dear Mrs.Ranney's class,

My name is Amy, Quynh Anh's cousin. I love fall because the leaves have so many different colors. I love to jump on the leave piles too.

  12. Dear Mrs. Ranney's class,

My name is Andrew, Quynh Anh's cousin. During Fall I like to play soccer. I like Fall because It has windy days and I like Thanksgiving.

    Happy Thanksgiving,
