  1. Dear Mrs. Ranney and Class,

I am so ecstatic about Open House! We have all worked extremely hard for this night to come! I can't wait for my parents to see all of our hard work and amazing projects! My favorite project is our admirable paragraphs. I also enjoy gazing at our exquisite cursive.

When my parents see the habitats, I think that they will be stunned at how we put together two realistic, important habitats.

I hope everyone enjoys our awesome projects!

    Warmly,
    Jamie :)

Wow....what an impressive display of all your hard work from this school year! As a family, we agreed that our favorite display was the biographies and dioramas. We loved seeing all the different materials the students used to create their person and their scene. The creativity was amazing!

    It has been great year!

  12. Dear Mrs. Ranney and Class,

It was so fun showing my parents around the classroom! My favorite thing to show them was my biography sculpture and writing. I saw some 2nd graders looking at our sculptures, and they kept commenting about how magnificent they thought they were. All of the biography sculptures were all so interesting to me.

We spent so much time trying to get ready for Open House, and it was worth it. I thought that our classroom looked so neat! I liked the way you set everything up. My parents loved everything so much that they didn’t even have a favorite!

I loved getting ready for Open House, and I also enjoyed going to Open House to show my parents and sister around!

    Regards,
    Carly

  13. Dear Mrs. Ranney and class,

I am so excited about our upcoming open house. I think it was a very creative idea to sit in chronological order by the person we researched. Since Rembrandt is from the 1600’s, I get to be the first seat.

My mom and dad are eagerly waiting to see all the work we have done, and how the class will be decorated. I am also thrilled to go into the 4th grades classes to see the work we will be doing next year.

    Sincerely,
    Philip

I was excited to come to open house tonight. I couldn't wait to see all the cool displays the kids had made on their historic person. I think they all did a really good job and have so much imagination. Seeing all the hard work and cool projects Raelynn has done is amazing. Thank you for all your hard work in teaching our children.

    Sincerely,

  16. Dear Mrs. Ranney,

I bet Open House was great, but I wasn't there because I went to see my sister's play. My mom was there quickly though because she was not feeling so well today . I hope that she saw all of my projects or at least some.

    All The Best,
    Jordyn

  17. Dear Mrs. Ranney and class,

This was a most impressive Open House. There were so many beautiful displays, works of art actually, by wonderful young artists, and a lot of great writing too. Each of you should be very proud.

  18. Dear Mrs. Ranney and Class,

All I can say is WOW! Your class looks so beautiful with all of the different areas that display your classwork. My favorite area was the "The Ocean" portion, because of the pretty blue background. I could see all the hard work that each and everyone of you put into your biographies. They were so interesting and creative!

I hope all of you have a great summer, and a BIG THANK YOU to Mrs. Ranney for being such a great teacher.

    Warmly,
    Melissa Aardema

  20. Dear Mrs. Ranney,

Open House was great! I showed my family everything. It was a really smart idea to arrange our desks in the year our biography
person was born. I brought my sister, mom, and my dad with me to
Open House. I'm sure that they loved it as much as I did.
    Sincerely,
    Shawn

  22. Dear Class,
I am so very proud of all that you have accomplished this year. Open House was a splendid success because of all of your hard work.
Since it is quite difficult to select a favorite Open House display, I think I would have to say that the displays that showed off your writing are the ones I like best! I commend all of you on the improvements you've made in writing this year!
You have definitely demonstrated that you are ready to take on 4th grade!

    Sincerely,
    Mrs. Ranney

  25. Dear Mrs. Ranney,

I loved open house! After I finished showing my parents around, I cruised over to the fourth grade classrooms. My favorite room was Mrs. Krauss because she had so many creative projects. She also introduced herself to me and she seemed really nice. I can't wait until Fourth grade, but first I am going to love summer vacation. See you tomorrow!

    Yours Truly,
    Mikayla

  26. Dear Mrs. Ranney,
Walking through your beautifully decorated room brought back all the wonderful memories I had while being in your class a few years ago. I am now in 5th grade and remember exactly everything we did in 3rd grade. Time goes by so fast. It's hard to keep up!

    Sincerely,
    Talia
