  2. Wow! A terrific display in deed. The projects were all very well done and most interesting. So too were the projects on the wall - both descriptive and good art work! Well done Mrs Ranney and well done all of you third graders.

  6. Dear Mrs. Ranney's Class,

Today's Open House is amazing. I can see how much you worked hard through the year. It was not just learning how to write cursive, to do multiplication... I feel that you classmates helped each other, learning together, making your best friend, and especially having fun with your marvelous teacher and great friends. You will remember every moments in room 9 with Mrs. Ranney in your life.
    Thank you, Mrs. Ranney.
I will miss you and they will remember you for a long time.

    Sincerely Yours,

    Josephine

We were impressed by all of your colorful art work and creative writing. We especially liked all of the biography projects which included interesting facts about some very important people in history. You are so lucky to have such a nice classroom, including a great air conditioning system and of course a great teacher! Thanks for sharing all of your hard work with us.

    Dear Mrs. Ranney and Class,

It is obvious by looking around the classroom how hard all of the students and Mrs. Ranney have worked this school year. I loved everything that I saw, but my two most favorite projects were the biographies and the biopoems.

Thanks for an amazing school year!

    Best wishes,

    Michelle

  15. Dear Mrs. Ranney's class,

What a wonderful presentation of all of your hard work! The hardest part of this blog is narrowing down what we loved the most as everything was so incredible. If forced to choose, I think the timeline across the desks were our favorite exhibit. What a wonderful display of creativity! We are proud of each and every one of you and are excited to see what else you come up with through the rest of your years here at Chaparral.

    Sincerely,

    Anthony's Mom & Dad

We loved every part of the classroom tour...all of the colors, poetry, dioramas, and fascinating facts. Perhaps the binder is our favorite because of the extensive collection of information, creativity, and wealth of knowledge, demonstrating this extraordinary previous year.

  17. Mrs. Ranney and class,

It was such a pleasure for us all to visit your classroom for open house.
All the work displayed was really wonderful. It was evident that all the kids put in lots of hard work this year.
We absolutely loved Noah's enthusiasm to share his work as well as the work of his peers. He was super proud! My personal favorite display was the frozen fractions.
Many thanks to you Mrs. Ranney for all that you have done and do for the kids. It's evident that your love and passion for teaching shows in the results of the kids work.
We wish you a wonderful end of year and hope, that as you embark on your next chapter in life that you love every moment of it!
    All our best,
    Noah's Family

  18. Dear Mrs. Ranney and class,

I loved open house! It was so awesome! The thing that I liked the most was the rain forest wanted posters. I think the rain forest posters were one of the coolest projects we made. I also think the biography timeline sculptures were amazing. I loved how everyone did their hardest to make them and I hope to see that hard work continue in 4th grade! I am very excited to go into 4th grade! I wonder what adventures we will have in 4th grade! I am so amazed by how many friends of mine did a great job in our class. I hope everyone has some great summer break activities planned. I’ll see you all in 4th grade.

    Sincerely,
    Noah

  19. Dear Mrs. Ranney and class,

I had a terrific time at Open House last Thursday. In fact, it was the best Open House I have attended. It was better than last year because we got to see more higher-level projects. The greatest sight of the night was the floating fish on the bright bulletin board. The sweetest part of the night was seeing all my friends in one place with their families. I can’t think of a happier way to spend an evening!

    Sincerely,
    Ayden

  20. Dear Mrs. Ranney and Class,

I really enjoyed showing my parents our room during Open House. They loved the tour and were so excited to see all of our hard work on display. It was really nice to view our math projects, and my parents especially liked the ice cream fractions. What was nicer was appreciating all of the effort that the class put in to making their dioramas. They were all very unique and special. The nicest part of the evening was knowing that I am ready for fourth grade next year after spending an amazing time here with Mrs. Ranney.

    Sincerely,

    Kim

  21. Dear Mrs. Ranney and Class,

I had a super time at open house. The best project that we did to me were the biography sculptures and the fish. I want open house to start over but that can't happen because my sculpture already fell apart. Paul Revere was bigger than his horse, so his horse couldn't hold him anymore! All the biographies were really great. Does anybody else have a favorite project?

    Sincerely,

    Colin

  22. Dear Class,

I have a story for you. Once a girl named Elinor went to her class for Open House. Her favorite thing was the Frozen Fractions. She thought that her Frozen Fractions was tastier then Caiti's, but it was also tastiest of all. for her it was easier than the Favorite Place Paragraphs, but the Bio poems were the easiest! She really enjoyed seeing her classroom and sharing her work with her classmates and their parents! I hope you liked my story!

    Regards,
    Elinor
