Pleasurable Packages!

Mrs. Ranney's Class was so excited today to
receive three mysterious packages!

Who could they be from?

Why, our Quad Blogging Buddies, of course!

**************

We received two terrific Tashi books
from Mrs. deVries Class in Australia!

Journey Around Boston From A to Z was the wonderful gift
from Mr. Avery's Class in Massachusetts!

Loonies and Toonies, A Canadian Number Book was the
delightful choice of Mrs. Watson's Class
in British Columbia, Canada.

We can't wait to read them all!

  1. Dear Mrs. Ranney,

I was pleasantly surprised by the four brilliant books we received today from our marvelous quad blogging buddies. When you said we were having a special surprise, I was intensely excited and curious to know what the surprise was. Since you said the surprise was presents, I thought it was going to be little individual toys like the cute koalas that the Australian Ella generously offered us last week. However, the presents were books presented to the entire class.

Although I am eager to read all four books, the book that I would like to read first is Journey Around Boston From A To Z. I want to read this book first because it resembles the book we are planning on sending to our quad blogging buddies this week. I will not reveal the title of that book, so that it does not ruin the surprise for our blogging buddies, who may be reading this comment as we speak.

    Your student,
    Ella

  3. Dear Mrs. Ranney and Class,

I did not see the books in class, but I looked closely online yesterday afternoon.

When I saw the books, they all looked very interesting. I am especially excited for when we read them.

The astonishing collection of books will be a stunning addition to our class.

    All the best,
    Aidan

  4. Dear Mrs. Ranney,

It sounds like the class got a surprise by getting the mysterious packages from our blogging buddies. Because I was not there, it is hard for me to comment on the books.

They look very interesting and will make a great addition to our class library.

What are we planning to send in our packages to them? I strongly suggest we send them a book from the Franny K. Stein series, and a fact book about California.

    Sincerely,
    Philip

  5. Dear Mrs.Ranney,

When I saw those packages today, I did not know what was in them. I saw three books in the packages when we opened them. I look forward to reading those books. I can't wait until we send our blogging buddies books. I hope they like the books we send them. I think that was very nice of our blogging buddies to send us books.

    Your student,

  6. Dear Mrs. Ranney,

I was stunned by the books we received from our thoughtful quad blogging buddies.

Since I was absent the day the books are quad blogging buddies sent us, I didn’t know the news until I went on the blog and discovered this post.

If all are quad blogging buddies didn’t get together then it would be strange how they all sent us books on the same day and they arrived at the same time.

I extremely want to read the books they all sent us. I’m going to listen very carefully when we read the books so I can see which one I’d like the best.

Now I have a few questions to ask you.

Which book do you think you’ll be most interested in?

Which book are you most eager to read in class?

Which book do you think will be these funniest when we read them in class?

    Yours Truly,
    Grace

  7. Dear Mrs. Ranney:

I am so excited that we received packages from our quad blogging buddies! I was wondering what direction the package traveled from Australia...east or west? I quickly looked at my globe and decided that, if I were them, I would send it eastbound because that is the quickest way from Australia to California.

I think I would like to read the book Tashi first. When I saw Tashi on Mrs. DeVries Class Blog, I noticed that he looked like an interesting little elf.

I am also extremely excited to send our package to Mrs. DeVries Class, Mr. Avery's Class, and Mrs. Watson's Class. I hope that they will all like what we send!

    Your Student,

    Leah ♥

  8. Dear Mrs. Ranney,

I was totally amazed that we received those packages. It was very considerate for Mr. Avery, Mrs. deVries, and Mrs. Watson to give us the books.

If I could pick an order to read the books, it would be Journey Around Boston from A to Z, Loonies and Toonies A Canadian Number Book, and then both Tashi Books. I arranged the books in that order because they look more interesting than the other ones. I picked Journey Around Boston from A to Z, because I would like to visit Boston.

I am glad that we got those books.

    Best,
    Justin

  9. Dear Mrs.Ranney,
I was very surprised that we got presents two days ago.
When you told us that that we got presents, I was stunned!
I really want to read all of them, but the one I want to read first is Tashi.
I read Tashi because it looks interesting.

  10. Dear Mrs. Ranney,

When we opened the packages that were delivered to us, I wondered what was in there. When I saw the books, quickly, I got so excited!

Two books from our blogging buddies in Australia that I can’t wait to read are the Tashi books.

Another book that I would like to read is Journey Around Boston from A to Z. One reason why I want to read Journey Around Boston from A to Z is because my mother was born in Boston and I’ve been there many times.

The last book that was sent to us was Loonies and Toonies, a Canadian Book. I would like to know what that one is about because I don’t know much about Canada and maybe this book will teach me something.

    All the best,
    Jordyn

  11. Dear Mrs. Ranney,

I am so excited to read books. When I saw the book about Tashi, I thought it looked interesting. Another reason I like Tashie books is because I enjoy looking at elves. When I first saw Tashi books I quickly thought Tashie was the best book of all.

    Best Reguards,
    Tristan

  15. Dear Mrs. Ranney and Class,

When we received packages, I was so stunned because I did not know what was inside. Even though the packages came from very far away, they are still an enormous pleasure.

Because you requested me to open the first package, I opened it and it was a book sent from our buddies all the way from Massachusetts!

The book that I want to read first is Journey Around Boston From A to Z. I want to read it first because it sounds really interesting to me. After that I want to read the two Tashi books sent from Mrs. deVries class in Australia.

    Warmly,
    Carly:)

  16. Dear Mrs. Ranney and Class,

I was so thrilled to see the Tashi books that were sent to us by our Australian blogging buddies. My friend Andrew, introduced me to the Tashi series, and I love them. My favorite one is Tashi and the Demons. I actually have the Big, Big, Big Book of Tashi, It has fourteen stories and 405 pages in it. I have happily read many of them. I was hoping that next year, Tashi books could be on the Reading Counts program. There are awesome adventures in Tashi and his best friend Jack's life.

I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I do.

    Best Regards,
    Michael

  17. Dear Mrs. Ranney and Class,

I am ecstatic about the glorious gifts from British Columbia, Canada, Plymouth, Massachusetts, and Australia.

The book I am most excited to read, even though I’m excited to read them all, is Journey Around Boston. If we started with Journey Around Boston, my second choice would be the Tashi books from Australia because our far away blogging buddies mentioned that those books brought very much pleasure to their class.

I hope that our amazing blogging buddies love our presents as much as I enjoyed their gifts!

    Warmly,
    Jamie☺

  18. Dear Mrs. Ranney and class,

We're so glad you got our book. We were hoping you would get it soon!

We hope you had an opportunity to learn all about Boston. It's a city that we love traveling to. There's so much to do like walk around the Charles River, go see a Red Sox, Celtics, or Bruins game, or go to Boston Commons.

Thank you for being quad blogging buddies with us. We really enjoyed it!

  20. Dear Sophie and Zoe,

Thank you for your kind words. We do like Tashi as much as you do. We are reading Tashi And The Forbidden Room. We haven’t started reading the other Tashi book yet.

Ella’s favorite part of the Tashi book is when Tashi ate ghost cake and walked through the wall. That is Jamie’s favorite part too.

We hope you like G Is For Golden!

    Your Quad Blogging Buddies,
    Ella and Jamie :)
