  1. Dear Mrs.Ranney,

I enjoyed making the spiders and eating them.

I am going to be LeBron James. He plays basketball on the Miami Heat.

I put my ghost on a bookshelf. My best words were rarer and rocket.

    All the best,
    Aidan

  2. Dear Mrs. Ranney,

Cool slideshow! I enjoyed the word find the most because it was my first time ever doing it. My best word was otter.

I'm going to be a witch for Halloween, and I'm planning to take a picture of me in my witch costume. I'm going trick or treating with Ariel, I can't wait.

I haven't put my ghost anywhere yet. I'm about to carve my pumpkin, then I'll decorate my house for Halloween.

By the way, do you notice how many contractions I've written into my comment?

    Your student,
    Ella

  3. Dear Mrs. Ranney,
I loved our Halloween! I enjoyed when we ate the witch's fingers. I also enjoyed when we made the spiders.I am going to be a wizard. My sister, Stephanie gave me her graduation gown. My best word that I made in Trick or Treat was track, because I go to track and field. My second best word was treater.

I have some questions for you,

What are you going to be for Halloween? And why?

Did you like the ghost that we made or the spider that we made out of food? Which one did you like the best?

    Happy Halloween,
    Philip

  4. @Aidan,
I'm glad you had a great time making the sweet spiders! I can't wait to see a picture of you as LeBron James! Have a Happy Halloween!
    @Ella,
I really did enjoying seeing how many contractions you used in your comment. I think I counted five different ones. I hope that you and Ariel have a great time trick-or-treating together. I can't wait to see the picture of you in your costume
    @Philip,
I loved the cheesy witch's fingers too! Your Halloween costume sounds very intriguing! I'm looking forward to seeing a picture of you as a wizard.
Have a spooky and safe Halloween, everyone!
    Best,
    Mrs. Ranney

    Dear Mrs. Ranney and class,

I ♥ your haunted Halloween post! Your crafts were downright ghoulish!

I like how Ella spelled the word witch correctly. A lot of people misspell it and type in which. It is hard to know which is witch!

  7. Hello Mrs.Ranney
We saw your video on the activity you had for Halloween. We can see how much the kids enjoyed the activity.
We would like to see our Ariel and her friend Ella in their Halloween costumes.

  8. Dear Mrs.Ranney,
I posted a comment the first day this post was posted and I noticed it didn't show up. So I am just going to write a new one.

I think this post is really awesome! I do not have a favorite part about the slide show though because it is all so great! I think that the spiders were so delicious. I liked the chocolate chips a lot. I also liked making the ghosts. I think those were very scary! Mrs.Ranney, I saw one word that I don't know. The word was on the slide show. The word is "arachnid". I have never seen that word before.

    What does "arachnid" mean?

Is it a high level word?

I am wondering what everyone will be for Halloween.

How much candy do you think the whole world has?

I don't know how much candy is in the whole world, but I hope to find out. I can't wait until it's time to trick or treat!

    Ghostly,
    Carly

  9. Dear Mrs. Ranney,

What I liked most was making the ghost. Mine was the one with the two bats on its head & it had the ghost's name on the bottom. I was a Bunny for Halloween. Trick or treating was so fun with Ella!

    Regards,
    Ariel

  11. Dear Mrs.Ranney,
I think that Friday afternoon was very fun. One highlight that really stood out was Friday after lunch. One thng that I liked about it was that we got to have a finger, and luckily the finger did not bleed when we were eating it. If the finger did bleed that would be terrible. It might have been delicious though. I am just joking.

    Best,
    Carly

  12. Dear Mrs. Ranney,
    Freaky Fun Friday was awesome!

My favorite part was making(and eating) the Spooky Spiders. I liked everything but the Spooky Spiders were my favorite.

For Halloween I was Hermionie from "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone".

    Yours truly,

    Jamie

  13. Dear Mrs.Ranney,
Even though Freaky Fun Friday was so long ago I still wanted to say that Friday was so astounding. If I ever want to make a spider then I can just take some chocolate chips, grab some marshmallows, and last but not least take eight pretzel sticks and make a spider.

    Happy Holidays!

    Warmest Regards,
    Carly

  14. Dear Mrs. Ranney,

I LOVE to have yummy spiders! I think that the ghost is so outstanding, because you could make your ghost any way that you want to. I also really liked the word find, I found some words that nobody else found. I can't really remember them though. I cannot wait until we do the other magnificent things that we will do this year!

    Happy New Year!

    Warmest Regards,
    Carly

  15. Dear Mrs. Ranney,

This is Carly and Jamie. We absolutely LOVED the video!

For Halloween we went Trick-or Treating together. Carly was Harry Potter from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Jamie was Hermione also from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

We can't wait for next Halloween!

    Happy New Year!

    Best,
    Carly and Jamie :)
