What did else did you learn about the fennec fox and the California desert tortoise?
What have you enjoyed most about our Wildlife Experiences so far?
Dear Mrs. Ranney,
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing all the animals. My favorite animal is the fennec fox. I am sad there is one more day of Wildlife Experience left(Monday).
Regards,
Nikki:) :)
Dear Mrs.Ranney,
ReplyDeleteI like the post. What I learned is that the fennec fox has fur on his feet to keep his paws cool from the hot sand. Another thing I learned is that males have longer horns than females. My favorite animal was Punk the skunk because it had CPR two times and it still lived!
I like Wildlife Experience.
Best,
Jake
Dear Mrs. Ranney,
ReplyDeleteI adore the animals we have seen so far. I learned that the interesting fennec fox eats a lot of tiny pieces of meat. I also learned that the species of the fennec fox that she brought was the smallest species in world! I loved all the Wildlife Experience visits!
Sincerely,
Leanne
Dear Mrs. Ranney,
ReplyDeleteMy favorite animal the other day was the fennec fox because it was cute and small. One fact I learned was that it had huge ears for its size, and it is the smallest fox in the world. The kit fox is the most minuscule fox in North America. The fennec fox can run up to 25 mph, which Ms. C. estimated.
Sincerely,
Carson
Dear Mrs.Ranney,
ReplyDeleteMy favorite animal this time was the fennec fox, and the fennec fox is born with big ears. A fennec fox has a neat voice, and a fennec fox is the smallest fox in its species. The fennec fox lives in the desert.
Best,
Jack
Dear Mrs. Ranney,
ReplyDeleteMy favorite animal so far is the fennec fox!!! Another animal I liked was the skunk, Punk the skunk. What was your favorite animal? One awe-inspiring fact I was taught was that the fennec fox has fur under its paws to protect it from getting hurt on the hot sand. Another spectacular fact I learned is that the male tortoise has larger horns than the female, so it is easier to flip the opponent over. I thought that once I saw Moose's eyes I thought he was going to attack me as hard as he could!!! One other fact I learned is that the tortoise has a small tail because it lives most of its life on land then in the water. My favorite part so far about the Wild Life Experience or Ms. C brought is the fennec fox and the small female tortoise. What was your favorite part about the Wildlife Experience this year? Another fact I learned is that the fennec fox is the smallest fox in the world. I love Wildlife!!!!!!!
Best wishes,
Andy
Dear Mrs. Ranney,
ReplyDeleteI love the animals we have seen. The fennec fox's ears are 5 inches and or 13 centimeters long. The female fennec fox gives birth to 2 to five babies each spring. The fennec fox eats locusts, lizards, and smal mammals. I enjoyed all the visits from Wildlife Experience.
Sincerely,
Roxana
Dear Mrs.Ranney,
ReplyDeleteI don't get that the tortoises "shell" is actually its spine! The fact that the
fennec fox is the smallest fox fascinated me so much!

Dear Mrs. Ranney,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the Wildlife Experience! Moose, the fennec fox, was so adorable, and the fox had bigger ears than me! That's amazing! One thing I recognized was that the fennec fox had a line of black on its tail. Another animal was the tortoise. Its name was Mojave! One thing I saw was that the tortoise's tail had bumps. I love Wildlife Experience, and I wish it would never leave!!!!!
Best Wishes,
Marisa
Dear Mrs. Ranney,
ReplyDeleteI learned that if the desert tortoise breaks its shell it can kill them! The fennec fox is really fun to learn about. I loved when Mrs. C brought in the amazing, colorful gopher snake. I also loved when she brought the very entertaining tarantula. It was so fun to use our super senses like our smelling and feeling.
Best wishes,
Cameron
Dear Mrs. Ranney,
ReplyDeleteAll the animals our class has seen so far are the best animals I have seen ever. It was also very exciting to see animals up close. The Fennec Fox was so adorable! The best part about on the Fennec Fox was the ears. My favorite fact about the fox was that since it had big ears, it could hear very well. I can't wait for the next Wildlife Experience!
Best Wishes,
Natalie
Dear Mrs. Ranney,
ReplyDeleteI loved both animals. I learned that a fennec fox's fur blends in with the desert sand. It is a nocturnal animal.
Here is one fact I thought was amazing. The fennec fox is the smallest fox in the world, and the kit fox is the smallest in North America.
I liked the fennec fox the most!
Sincerely,
Eli
Dear Mrs. Ranney,
ReplyDeleteI liked "Wild Life Experence" so far
because we have done a lot of activities. I know another fact about the desert tortoise. It can tuck its four legs inside its back bone.
