Dear Class,
ReplyDeleteI am Gabrielle (Annsley's sister). I am 7 years old. I complete on team gymnastics for All Olympia Gymnastics Center.
I go to Chaparral. My teacher is Mrs. Broussard.
For Halloween, we went trick-or-treating at Mr. Detamore's house. He used to be a 3rd grade teacher here at Chaparral Elementary. We were surprised to learn that he gives out homework instead of candy. If I complete the homework and return it to him on Friday, he will give me candy. I think I will invite him to blog on Mrs. Ranney's site.
Sincerely,
Gabrielle
Dear Gabrielle,
DeleteThank you for writing a comment on our blog. That was a very nice comment. Did you turn in the homework yet? If you turned in your homework what did he give out?
Cheers,
Maya and Molly
Dear Mrs. Ranney and Class:
ReplyDeleteHow was everyone's Halloween? Did you enjoy yourselves? Jacob and his two brothers went trick-or-treating in our neighborhood with some of their friends. They got a lot of candy, so they are donating some of it to the troops.
Jacob dressed up as a Ghostbuster, his younger brother wore an Iron Man costume, and his older brother was a boxer. What costume did you wear for Halloween?
Sincerely,
Michelle
(Jacob's Mom)
Dear Mrs. Ranney and Class,

I am loving family blogging month. I can't wait to see who will post from our family. I bet Mom will post before Dad.
Can you get some other student who were in Mrs. Ranney's class with you to post on the blog?
Thanks,
Lucas
@ Lucas,
DeleteI beat dad!
I am so proud of you!
Love always,
Sybil (Lucas' mom)
Dear Lucas,
ReplyDeleteThis is Babe, your dog. I can't speak or type but if I could I would say exactly this.
I would love to come to school but only for lunch and recess. That way I could play all day.
🐾,
Babe (Lucas' dog)
@ Babe,
DeleteThanks for posting! The question marks are supposed to be paw prints.
Love you!
Cheers,
Lucas
Dear Babe,
DeleteThank you for commenting.
We all like that you only want to play for recess and lunch.

Hello Lucas and class,
ReplyDeleteToday we took a photo of the Indians who sell their jewelry every day under the portal of the Old Governor' Palace. They are the only people allowed to sell things and they sit under the portal with a blanket on the ground, where they display their wares. I can not figure out how to post the photo.
Love, Grammy and Grampy
Hello,
ReplyDeleteThis is Lucy and Blue. We are part of Lucas' family. We are the dogs who belong to Lucas' Grammy and Grampy. Lucy is Babe's sister, an English Labrador, and Blue is a 127 lb. Doberman. Lucy and Babe miss seeing you Lucas. People see Doberman's in the movies and think they are not nice, in reality they are the sweetest dogs and ours is sweet as can be. Blue loves children and loves to be petted.
Ruff! Ruff!
@ Lucy and Blue,
DeleteThanks for posting!
Can you get both Grammy and Grampy to post on the blog?
Thanks,
Lucas
Dear Class,

Sorry I do not think any other babies post on blogs.
I hope you will post again.

Dear Class,
ReplyDeleteDid anyone forget about daylight savings time? In our house we all got up too early today. Santa Fe is the oldest capitol city in the United States.
Where we live now is like a small town. Even though Santa Fe is a city there is no traffic here and everything is close. We have hiking that Mrs. Ranney and her husband would enjoy. We also have a ski slope
and Mts and desert. We have different Indians living near by. The Navajo tribe takes their young children from their parents at an early age and the elders teach the children their own language. Different tribes have different customs.
All the best,
Grammy
Dear Mrs. Ranney's Class,
ReplyDeleteI am really enjoying reading all of your posts and feel like I am learning a lot about your class. I think family blogging month is a great idea and I love talking to Kim about her ideas for great posts. You all have such different interests and seem to be one creative class. I will be getting my husband and Kim's grandma involved so they can view your awesome work as well.
Keep up the great blogging work.
Best,
Michelle (Kim's mom)

I hope Cati has been getting good grades and all of her friends in the class like Olivia, Jacob, Molly, Michelle, Lucas, Maya, and much much more. Is your class doing the Alfasmarts? (I think thats how you spell it.) I have a blog, but I haven't posted on it in a long time yet. I was thinking about posting on it soon. Maybe you can check it out It is called Ellie"s Enormous Elevator. Here is the link Ellie's Enormous Elevator

Dear Mrs. Ranney's class,
ReplyDeleteWe are Colin's fish Ponyo and Hiccup. We can't type but if we could, this is what we would say. This blog is so interesting! I wish we could one day escape from this fish tank. Mrs. Ranney's classroom and all of Chaparral seems so exciting instead of this boring old tank. We are very interested in what Mrs. Ranney's classroom is like. What is it like? What art projects do you do? Is it fun? What color are the walls? Do you get to use alphasmarts? Are there iPads in the room? If you know, please write us back.
Yours truly,
Ponyo and Hiccup (Colin's fish)

Hi Class!
ReplyDeleteThis is Yossi - Noah's dad, again.. :- )
I saw a comment here about the word Blogging and thought I would share this fun-fact.

and
Log (diary, notebook etc)?
Interesting, isn't it? :-)
Keep learning kids, it is so much FUN!

Hi, everyone!!
ReplyDeleteThis is Allen, and I'm Noah's uncle! I live in Colorado with Noah's cousins, Samantha and Joshua.
Because we live in another state, we don't see Noah and his family as much as we would like. But I have great news to share!
We will be driving out for Thanksgiving to visit! Everyone is so excited. We cannot wait to see Noah and his brother Judah and his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Levy.
This is going to be the best Thansgiving ever!
We hope you guys all have a great holiday, too!
Best of luck,
Allen
Today is Veterans Day. Lucas do you know that Grampy and my father were both veterans. Grampy served during the Vietnam War, and my father served during WW!!. Students when you go home ask if anyone in your family served the US in the military. We thank them for their service and today reminds us of this service.
ReplyDeleteAll the best, Grammy ( Lucas)
Hi, guys!
ReplyDeleteIt's Noah's uncle, Allen, again. I forgot to share something really important last time.
You might remember we are coming all the way from Colorado to visit Noah and his famiy for Thanksgiving. Well, the other exciting news is that our trip also happens to fall at the same time of an important Jewish holiday this year.
That holiday is called Hanukkah. It's also known as the Festival of Lights.
This year, Hanukkah begins on the Wednesday right before Thanksgiving, which, of course, is always on the last Thursday of every November.
So, what does all this mean?
Well, for Noah and all of his relatives, it will mean two really fun back-to-back holidays!!!
Happy Thansgiving everyone and Happy Hanukkah!!!
Allen
Hello to all of Mrs. Ranney's class,
ReplyDeleteI am blogging to see how everyone's Veterans day was. What did you and your family do on Veterans day? I spent my day with my mom and my aunt and we watched a documentary of people who have served in the military. Do you know anyone who has served in the U.S Military? We appreciate everyone who has fought for our country.
Best Regards,
Roxanna (Ayden's friend)
Hi Roxanna,
DeleteThank you for writing in my classroom blog. On Veterans day I went to my grandmas house with my cousins and my little brother. We played games like hide and seek, tag, and we played multi player minecraft. I had a lot of fun.
Sincerely,
Ayden
Hello everyone,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Meagan and I am Ayden's cousin. I live in Novato, CA. That is a town north of San Francisco in Marin County. I am in high school. I was invited to this blog and it is my first time viewing it. I see that my dad already blogged on this page and he seems to want the turkey all to himself on Thanksgiving Day. I am so excited to be coming down to Los Angeles to see my extended family.
I had a great time on Veteran's day. I would like to thank all that have served for our country.
Regards,
Meagan (Ayden's cousin)
Hello Class, Why do we have turkey on Thanksgiving?
ReplyDeleteWhat will you do having holiday all week?
We plan to go to the Huntington Library with Aidan and his brother Lucas, and also visit the Ventura Mission. We are so lucky there are so many places we can visit when school is out.
Best wishes, Grammy ( Lucas )
Yo, yo, yo, guys!
ReplyDeleteHow is EVERYONE?! It's Noah's Uncle Allen and, boy, are we getting excited about our upcoming trip to California!!
Noah's cousins, Samanatha and Joshua, and their mother, Erica and I will all be driving from Colorado to California.
It's a long trip but it's going to be a blast!
I have the route all mapped out. We will be starting in Colorado, head north to Wyoming, then take a sharp left to drive into Utah.
Our first day on the road will end in Salt Lake City, which is the largest city in Utah.
The next morning, we'll get up early and head west again, driving through Nevada before finally crossing the border into California.
Our first stop before we get to Noah's house will be in San Francisco. And after two days there, we'll finally head south to Woodland Hills, where Noah and his family live.
This is going to be tons and tons of fun!
Happy Thanksgiving you guys! We hope everyone has the best holiday ever!!
Allen
Can't wait to see you all, Allen!
DeleteYour brother-in-law, Yossi. :- )
Hello Folks!
